A RACE I MUST RUN

Mathew 13:7 And some fell among thorns and thorns sprang up and choked them. Every written word of the Lord is true, as i meditate upon His word I see myself clearly in this, when i look into my life are only thorns everywhere chocking me how  can i come out of it if not only  by the grace of God. The word of God tells me  in Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” how sweet and precious is the word given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ, The Lord said that there will be thorns that will be there; these are the trials and challenges  that i face everyday, sometimes i feel like i will wear out, but how will i wear out when He tells me Be  strong and courageous....you know? and in Mathew He says that "the son of man will sow seeds and all will fall in different grounds", its a call to action,if there are thorns that are there to choke you then there is also our father who stands to make sure that we are not devoured.Be strong, He says, I AM GOD YOUR GOD I WILL BE WITH YOU. will you let the worries of this world choke the seed planted in you by the son of God? will you allow that challenge? will you let that discouragement? will you let that rejection by people you trusted choke that seed? will you not nature it even though in that pain?and say to the Lord, "God you said in your word that you will be with me", even though now that am in pain as a result of my poor decision making, but Father i trust that you will help me and give me wisdom. I know you called me with a purpose i may not see clearly now but i know and believe that you are working in me even though i may not see it or recognize it. for surely i feel like where am standing is in the middle of  thorns when i try to spring up i am stung in every side, i suffer pain that am not able to utter, Lord help me to remain strong and not to be choked but come out strong. My strength is found in you Lord, help me to know that i can still praise you in the middle of it all and that i can find joy and peace in you. 

Lord i understand that this race is not without a touch, Proverbs14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man,But its end is the way of death. for i know in my walk there will be such many ways that will seem right to me but you my Lord knows that they will lead me to destruction, for my enemy comes to steal destroy and kill, my Lord help me in such times so that i may not fall. Help me protect that which you have planted in me, even if it will mean that i loose everything in this walk but ooh my Lord help me treasure my salvation that you have given me.
 Lord Jesus help me to keep focus knowing that this is a race that i must run and that there is victory to be won. Help me dear Lord to be true through it all.
