This morning this is the question the Spirit of the LORD asked me.whose word do you take? Luke 24:9 when they came back from the tomb, they told all this things to the eleven and all the others. verse 11 but they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them as nonsense. wow! well it is not as easy but neither is it difficult the question is whose word are you going to believe? God speaks to us everyday every minute but we push Him away because of the fears of the world.we choose not to walk in His path, because when we do we have to let other things in our life go, sometime it may cost you your job, it may cost you your friends. these are some of the question that we get in our minds. How is it going to be? how will i handle myself? i need finances, i need all this to survive for am not going to be pain to my people. I love my friend i can't loose him/her. well He knows this and he knows that you need all that you need. It does terrify doesn't it? this is the time that we need to hold on unto His word. All i need to know is that if He calls me i should trust that he is going to provide right?. It sounds impossible but in impossibilities there is where we see God. Tricky but there is no shortcut all there is, is to believe in His word. we have been really brainwashed by the opinion of the world that the word of God has no much effect on us. if only we could believe then we can testify much more than what we see happened in the first church. There is so much power in His word that if we take it as it is the devil will look at us and be terrified. when you choose to stand by the word, people won't believe you, actually they won't support you, just like the women who came from the tomb, they told them the truth what the angels of God had said to them but they didn't believe them, and most of the time we are afraid to speak out what God have said to us because to people it seems irrelevant, we are so afraid of saying to people things that will not make sense to them. but we forget whose side as a believer are you in? I have realized i don"t have to make sense, i trust in His word. there is a lot that God says in our everyday life but we shy out, the power lies in speaking what you hear and receive from Him in doing this you build your confidence in His word and this opens up more opportunity to hearing from Him. for when we give we receive, say it let it not make sense to many but OBEY God's word and greater things will come your way. It is by grace that we receive from GOD.
