Destitute to Glorious

In the book of John 5  it is a story of a man who was helpless, and we are all in this status without Jesus Christ. But most of us are not even aware of this, its a realm not seen with our physical eyes but our spiritual eyes. Many of us think that we are okay, and that it is just natural to go through what we go through after all who doesn't have issues in their life?  That is what we see and know but there is much more than what we see and what we know. The word of God tells us that my people perish due to lack of knowledge and this is very true. And this truth is only found in HIS Word. verse 6 when Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time he asked him. Do you want to get well? sir he replied i have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred.
This is the state that most of us are in, willing but not able, what we see is the condition we are in and the impossibilities, failure. We fail to see the bigger picture that there is one who is able to see us and knows our condition. most of the time is when He usually ask us do you want to get well? Do you want to get out of that condition?, but we are always busy saying it is impossible rather than just saying a simple word YES. He don't need your explanation for He knows everything. We just need to say YES. Jesus never asked him why are you here? but he asked him do you want to get well? In-fact even before he had talked to him  He knew he had been there for 38 years. this has never changed He knows how long you have been there. This man just started complaining how other people get into the pool before him, these is what  most of us do we complain how others are doing better than us.We compare ourselves with others, here is where we loose the mark. Our father doesn't need all this explanations, Jesus did answer every question we were to answer, when we do these explanations we try to show up our own righteousness. we forget that our heavenly father needs no explanation from us. Jesus answered every question He took us from nothing and has put us in a position where we have everything, that is our position now. verse 8 Jesus said to him up pick up your mat and walk. This is exactly what happened at the cross Jesus said to us get up and walk but most of us are still lying complaining about our conditions where else we were already taken out of this conditions. What we need to do is to know our position in Christ and before our father, this is a victory itself for its just the beginning to move to higher heights in our fathers kingdom. My brother and sister : if indeed Christ did pay all my debt why then am i still in this condition? remember being destitute is not your cup for if I and Christ are one and Christ in the father then all i need is just pick up my mat and go, for i was destined to grow from glory to glory that is my position in Jesus Christ.

Shalom.
